Description
This lighthouse is a steel, 3-tiered structure that sits on a oncrete jetty in Lake Michigan. The fog horn in in the bottom layer, and the second layer is an observation area.
Manitowoc is home to the Wisconsin Maritime Museum that includes a genuine WWII submarine. Submarines were built here and launched for service during the war.
