Sandy Hook and Navisink aren't too far away

Beach and light in poor condition

|
Unless you enjoy an endless feast of dead horseshoe crabs and a foul odor, you'll probably want to avoid visiting this light. Although it's a unique lighthouse for NJ, it - along with the beach it's on are in poor shape. I'll give Conover Beacon a 3 just for the fact that it's a lighthouse.
