Description
The lighthouse at Playa del Carmen was privately built. The date of its construction is unknown. The lighthouse is a modern design and consists of a conical tower with an external staircase that winds around the outside of the tower as seen in the posted photograph. The flash signature consists of three white flashes every 12 sec.
