Description
The San Miguel Lighthouse or El Faro del Predio Ealetitia stands on the beach near Cozumel, Mexico and is a very recently completed lighthouse. Construction of the light was completed in 2000. The lighthouse is constructed of concrete with four vertical ribs topped by a gallery and lantern room. The lighthouse is remotely controlled from Playa del Carmen located across the strait on the Yucatan Peninsula.
