Description
A lighthouse was first built in Port Clinton in 1832. That light was evidently discontinued from the 1870's - 1890's for a lack of ship traffic. The lighthouse was renovated in 1893 and then in 1896 a four sided wooden light was built on the west breakwater. The breakwater lighthouse was relocated in the 1960's and now stands in Brand's Marina and is accessible to visitors.
