Description
The only reminder of the most famous landmark along the coast is located at the Rehoboth-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce office located near Rehoboth Beach on Rehoboth Avenue. A scaled down replica of the Cape Henlopen Lighthouse (rebuilt the summer of 1998) guides people into the resort area. The lighthouse served mariners from 1765 to 1924, toppled into the ocean after a series of storms in 1926.
