Description
From the downtown harbor front, this light can be seen as it sits atop a massive rock. The scene is somewhat like that of a castle on the lake. Both the light and its attached quarters are an imposing sight. This is an active Coast Guard station and access to the public is not permitted, but you can get close. Visiting the local maritime museum and gift shop will alow you to get close enough to walk within photo distance of the station.
